I always wanted to keep bees since my grandfather is a beekeeper. Lately he is getting old and more and more complaining that he can no longer work in the beeyard. He only kept some 10-15 Langstroth beehives in recent years and he already decided he could not do even that much anymore. Years ago he was working on 40+.

Some members of the family already tried to keep those beehives but they are just not so much interested and a little scared of the bees also and they don't want to bother with beekeeping. So I decided I will keep bees. The problem we encountered is that I live in other country and due to laws and regulations cannot import bees and beehives of my grandfather. Luckily there is a guy who said he will keep my grandfather's bees and I decided to just get my own from some local beekeeper. So that is how it all started in May 2007...
